Having made a bed from african indigo fabric for my own doggy i decided i would like to make beds for other peoples best friends to suit their decor. They can also be used as a large floor cushion.

If you would like a custom size then please convo me and i will do my best to help design something for you. Traditional mud cloth is made in mali, west africa. Strips of fabric are hand woven, then sewn together.

The fabric is then dyed and hand painted with traditional designs. The hand woven nature of the fabric makes for a lovely soft and textured fabric. Such fabric comes with its own beautiful imperfections. All my covers have had the top reinforced with a stabilising fabric which is crucial for most vintage and handwoven fabrics.

The backing fabric is a washable upholstery fabric in a coordinating colour. I will make double sided mud cloth.

They are fastened with a heavy duty ykk brass zipper. Measurements are large 94cm x 70cm (37"x 27"). Medium 90cm x 60cm (36"x 24"). Small 65cm x 55cm (26"x 22").

If you require a different size please ask me. An alternative to fill the cover is using old pillows or clothing (this is also eco friendly and cost effective helping to reduce landfill). Gentle hand wash with mild soap. Or dry cleaning is recommended.
