This wall-mounted stairstep has a removable washable slipcover. The frame underneath is bent steel mesh that's lightly upholstered. Hanger holes in back slide onto wall screws. The top perch is about 5 x 9 inches.

Detailed dimensions are in a photo. This slipcover's fabric is new vintage rust spice cotton corduroy with a face of vintage deep red velvet. The main model is ruby, a 7-pound orange tabby and white senior kitty. Two screws hold the stairstep to the wall. Included are screws, drywall anchors, and a wall template.

All screws can go in drywall, with or without a wall stud. The horizontal distance between screws is 5.5 inches.

All fabrics are prewashed and line dried. Touch-up ironing/steaming can be done directly on the stairstep.

Under the zippered slipcover is a sewn-on cover of recycled vintage sheet fabric, and under that, a thin layer of padding from recycled polyester/acrylic blankets. The step's feel is more firm than plush. Custom fabric combinations are available in almost any color.

Mirror-image versions of this bed and step (leading up from right to left) are not available yet, but soon. This item is made of steel and vintage fabric, new fabric, low voc adhesive, nylon zippers.
