Crocheted Chunky Cat Bed

  
A crocheted cat bed that was immediately loved by my own cat, as soon as i gave it to her. It is very chunky and cozy for your fur baby my cat usually doesn't take favor to many things besides myself and she's been in this non stop since i made it for her. I hope your cat loves it just the same.

I have been a cat foster for a local animal recue for several years. I started working from home during quarantine and was trying to find ways to keep my cats off of my laptop and keyboard.

I decided tot try my hand at crocheting a soft little mat or cat coaster as i like to call them to keep them happy laying somewhere besides in my way. It worked in fact even the grouchy cat that didn't like to sit by me started coming to sit by me on this little coaster. I started making them for some other friends with cats and gifting them when i adopted out a cat i has been fostering. I started making a lot as it was quite therapeutic sitting at home in the evening crocheting.

I started piling up way too many cat beds. Through trial and error i taught myself how to create a basic mat and bed from several chunky yarns. I have the base mats made and will build them to custom size as they are ordered. I hope that you will find one that you like and that even your grumpiest of kitties will enjoy its new sleeping place. Mats and beds are available in multiple sizes and colors.
