Sitting at the top of the chunky post is a huge 49cm round bed with rigid sides and sponge base for the ultimate in comfort, wrapped in the luxury fleece of your choice. The secret to the solid stance of this post is in the very large heavy base. At over an inch thick, the base is made from furniture grade particle board with a pine center detail and is wrapped in 8mm sisal. It's very heavy and gives the post great stability, even when in use by big cat breeds such as ragdolls and maine coons. 8 rubber feet keep this large scratch post steady and add traction when in use on hard floors.
