Industrial Black Iron Pipe And Wood Pet Window Perch

  
It all started with alfonso's "window seat". Every morning the fight would be on. Me at my desk (quite small) and alfonso's butt on the corner of it craning to see out the window. So with not enough room for the two of us, i went looking for a window shelf for him.

None of them really fit in with the rest of my furnishings but i needed to get him off my desk so i just made one up. I was going to add a little towel or pillow but before i could, he had plopped his butt right on it. It worked he loves it. This shelf has been hand distressed then tinted to an aged pine.

Hand sanded then finished with clear natural wax. The 3/4'' "black" pipe and fittings have been cleaned and clear waxed. They have not been painted a solid black.

Shelf is 1 1/2'' thick x 9'' deep x 26 3/4'' wide. Once attached to wall with pipe brackets its almost 10'' deep. Shelf will have holes drilled and screws for the pipe fittings to attach to shelf. Mounting screws and drywall anchors are included. Mounting to wall studs is recommended.

Remember, it's going to be jumped on and slept on. This shelf is one of a kind so you will receive the shelf that is pictured. Sorry alfonso is not included. This is not alfonso's shelf.

While i was taking pics he just had to get on it. This item is made of wood and pine, pipe, wax, raw edge wood.
