The material of the pet house in this listing is black alder and it is painted with oyster color oil-wax. We offer black alder wood material, which is a rather popular choice for interior furniture.
Black alder is a medium toned wood and has a beautiful light wood texture which looks very decorative when painted with sheer color, or on it's own it is also very sturdy and durable - perfect choice for kids furniture. Black alder can be processed with a natural protective liquid oil-wax for wooden furniture, which makes the finish beautifully silky matte. The wax finish impregnates the wood and makes it water and dirt resistant.
We use tikkurila nostalgia wood wax, which unlike bees wax is anti-allergic. Please keep in mind that as we use natural oil-wax paint, not completely opaque paint, it is not possible to have the wood structure not visible. Please choose your desired paint color when ordering and keep in mind that the final look can slightly differ from what you see on the screen, due to different monitor settings. You can also choose plain wood option, if you plan to paint the product on your own with a different paint.

We have perfected the assembly process, so it is logical and as easy as possible. We have designed a special milling, so the bed house would be very stable and easy to put together.
