A dog/cat bed designed to be very practical and to give a pet a feeling of security. The idea was to primarily make your pet feel safe for example when fireworks are going off as this enclosure is very solid.

Having been made aware that animals can feel less anxious if in tight surroundings we suggest putting bedding inside to enclose your pet so it feels a little cramped. The interior is varnished so it can be wiped clean and the exterior is coated with 3 coats of hand applied wax to give the bed a look and feel of luxury making this a lovely piece of furniture that can also be used as a table.

The black handles and hinges set the unit off and as the top lifts it gives access to and for your pet and for ease of cleaning. This could be made as a solid walled chest without the opening if desired as a table/chest.

This item is supplied without the bedding. The pictures are of a medium sized unit 60(w) x 50(d) x 35(h) approx.

A small one would also be suitable for cats. A couple of photos show the bed with a double folding lid and a lighter colour, that a customer requested due to lack of height space.

The last 3 photos were very kindly supplied by a customer showing bella in bed. 2 photos show ted my border collie in a bed measuring 75x50x50 cms.
